Lachlan’s History

Lachlan started in the industry in 1999 working at a Honda/Suzuki Dealership in the spare parts and accessories department in Parkes, NSW. After a year, he moved in to the workshop to start his apprenticeship as a motorcycle mechanic.

He was fortunate enough to work under an experienced and enthusiastic mechanic – setting him up with a great foundation that taught him the importance of personalised service. Lachlan moved to a larger Honda/Kawasaki Dealership Workshop in Orange to finish the last year of his apprenticeship.

Fortunately 4 experienced mechanics also worked at the dealership who guided Lachlan to continue to broaden his knowledge and encouraged his drive for motorcycles. Needing a change Lachlan headed to Wollongong to work at a Honda/Kawasaki/Suzuki Dealership.

With the change of location came a great change of work with more in/out servicing and a large road bike seen. In 2007, Lachlan & his brother travelled and worked around Australia.

With his tools on-board this enabled him to find work along the way on a variety of engines including motorbikes, cars, boats, anything with an engine. After travelling around the world and settling in Canada with his new wife, Lachlan worked on various machines from small welders to 100 tonne cranes, in the Oil & Gas Fabrication Plant.

In 2012, the family moved back to Australia and settled here on the Sunshine Coast where he worked at the local Kawasaki Dealership, this helped him get back up to speed on all the latest technology & factory training.
